What a great book. I like the colorful animals.

 Grammy bought me a little ducky swimming pool. It's just the right size for me and takes only 1 pail of WARM water, not gallons and gallons. It even has a sun shade so I don't get sunburned on these bright sunny days. I sure had fun splashing and splashing. I was pretty surprised the first time I got lots of water in my face, but after a few times I just laughed and laughed. YIKES, but look at my feet. I think they left me in the water a little to long!

Jodie's Bridal Shower

It's a bridal shower for my niece Jodie. Yup, her colors are orange and royal blue and she is not a fan of the Denver Broncos, she just liked the colors. It turned out to be a great choice.

 Let's have a glass of wine and some snacks as we wait for all the guests to arrive. Notice the orange top and the blue wine bottle and glass.

 The only game that Jodie really wanted to play was where the guests divide into teams and dress one of their team mates in a wedding dress made from toilet paper. We took Rylie to the kitchen and dressed her in a beautiful dress. She had so much fun!

Yes, it was Karen's Team! Looks like she has some very creative people on her team. It almost looks like it could be a REAL dress.

Time is going by so fast and Mommy says I am growing cuter everyday. Grammy agrees.

 I still love to read books. Big books, cardboard books, and crinkly books. They are all fun to see. However, I don't especially like this "Baby" seat anymore and have figured out how to turn over and crawl right out. Boy, was Grammy surprised!

 This is a quilt that Grammy made for me.

Ron's Projects

Ron spends a lot of time working on projects in his shop. We have a few pieces of his art work in our yard, but most have been given away or donated to charity auctions.

We won - AGAIN!

Here's a pretty funny story. Last year we went to a charity event at the Bellingham Theater Guild. They had several raffles and they drew our ticket for the "Fun in the Sun" raffle. It was loaded with MANY amazing items. Last night we went to another charity event at the theater, but for a different organization. AND, we WON AGAIN!!!! This time our prize package was "Some Enchanted Evening". What a fun win this was. You can see most everything in the picture, but here is what you can't see:

Father's Day

Jennie set a special table for Father's Day. The name tags had camping trailers, trees and fish all tied together with her black, brown and cream table setting.

 This was Jerad's first Father's Day and what a proud daddy he is.
He just loves this little guy!

Cowlitz River in June

We spent a week at our campsite on the Cowlitz River down by Mt. St. Helens. We actually had some pretty nice weather, but the guys only caught 1 fish.

 This raccoon lives in the river bank right in front of our site. He has been pretty brave even coming out during the day.

 Then there is the mole issue. They are all over and can really make a mess out of the yard. Fortunately for us we have not had an new mole hills yet this year. This picture was taken at a neighbors site. Ron has been a good trapper and both his traps were full when he checked them.

Book Time

Grammy has a great kids library and I even have my very own rocking chair. There's even some toys in her library. Mouse is helping me read If You Take a Mouse to the Movies.

My favorite things in this basket are the books. Yes, the ladybug I'm holding really is a book. Pretty silly, right? I hope Grammy reads it to me next, even though it's not my favorite. I like the REAL books better.

Face Plant

 I wanted to get my book so I figured I would just move over and get it. However, nobody told me that 4 month olds aren't suppose to crawl. I thought I could. The legs know what to do, but the arms don't. I've really got to work on this as I am going to get a rug burn from all these face plants.
