Ron's Projects

Ron spends a lot of time working on projects in his shop. We have a few pieces of his art work in our yard, but most have been given away or donated to charity auctions.

Papa and Brayden

My Papa stopped by on his way home from playing Pickleball. I was hungry and he was just in time to feed me. Grammy's watching me while Mommy is at work. I'm not sure who liked this more, me or Papa. I think he really likes holding me.

 I'm getting to be a big boy. I can almost hold the bottle all by myself.

Happy Birthday, Ron

It's Ron's birthday today. We are always at the Cowlitz this time of  year, so he gets to do exactly what he loves on his birthday and that's FISH!! Keith and Sheral gave him a bottle of Margarita Mix and a crazy musical card. Sherla and Ron like to have a before dinner Margarita, so this assures that they will have the supplies. Rosemary made him a triple berry pie, but I must be slipping as I forgot to get a picture of the birthday dinner. Oops!

 Rosemary has learned a new craft called "Pricking". You use a pattern to punch holes in a paper and then use thread to sew the design. They are quite fun, so we decided to make Ron birthday cards. I made the one with the tools and Rosemary made the fish. You may be seeing more of these.

Happy Birthday

Fishing always gets a little crazy on the weekends. Ron said there were about 75 boat trailers at the launch this morning. However, it's his birthday today and he was pretty pleased that he did catch a "Birthday Fish" even with all the competition. Rosemary made Ron a lemon meringue pie for his birthday. It was yummy! She makes such GOOD pies.

Randy's Visit

Randy, in the middle, loves to fish. He has joined us on a few fishing trips now. He came and spent the day fishing with Ron and Norm today. Unfortunately the fishing wasn't any better today than it has been the last few days. They did have a great time and caught one fish, so Randy was able to take fresh fish home for dinner.

Ron's Bored

Ron is bored! Having to stay inside out of the rain is NOT his idea of exciting. He can only read and play Nintendo DS for so long. So, what else do you do on a VERY rainy day, but go out and wash the motorhome and the car. Since we have no faucet, the rain can rinse them off.
