Thanksgiving Day

Amber and Jerad got a new dining room table, so we went to their house for Thankgiving. It was perfect!

This is Jennifer with her Uncle Dennis.

Jennifer, Grandma and Amber had time for a picture after dinner was finished.

Grandma was trying to take a picture of us girls. As you can see she was having a little trouble figuring out which way to hold the camera. Since she's 96 years old we were patient with her and eventually got the picture we were trying for. We all had a good laugh, including Grandma.

We sat very close together to give her a smaller target. After many tries she finally got us all in. We're even pretty close to center. Hurray for Grandma!!

Clam Digging at Ocean Shores

We went clam digging at Ocean Shores. The weather was beautiful and we had the best clam digging ever.

This time of year the low tides are at night, so that makes digging a little more challenging.

As far and you could see there are lantern lights helping the clam diggers find their clams.

Karen's Visit

My cousin Karen came to visit for a few days. We had a wonderful time. Here she is visiting with Scott and Julie.
We also went to see Mom. Since it was a beautiful day we were able to spend some time in the courtyard and have a nice visit surrounded by the beautiful flowers.

Michael Buble

We attended the Michael Buble concert at GM Place in Vancouver, Canada. We went with Amber and Jerad and had a wonderful time. Michael puts on a great show and I think this was extra special for him, as he lives in Vancouver. Don't let the picture fool you, we were not this close. My camera just has a great zoom. Amber bought the tickets in September, as soon as they went on sale. However, they sold so quickly that these were the best seats available. Though we were high up, next to the last row, we were right up front and had a great view.

Christmas Ship

Bruce and Cindy invited us to join them on the Virginia V Christmas Ship and cruise Lake Union in Seattle. When we left home we were concerned about the weather, but it turned out to be a perfect evening. The Virginia V is a steam ship and the last of the Mosquito Fleet. It has been restored and is beautiful. There were many decorated boats on the lake as well as one that played music. We had a wonderful evening!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

We had our first snow of the season today! It's beautiful, but came at an inconvenient time. We were suppose to have the staff Christmas party at my house tonight. We decided to cancel it and keep everyone safe at home. Sorry to miss the party, but now everyone can stay cozy by their fires and enjoy watching the snow come down.

Idaho Trip

October 18-November 4
Ron takes a trip to Idaho fishing every year. He goes with his friends Norm and David. They fish the Clearwater River. Norm's wife goes along and enjoys the Idaho fall weather and cooks for the boys. The men eat very well when Rosemary cooks. Homemade pies and bread with every meal. Wow, lucky men!! There are many firsts in life and this year they had a big one, as you can see by looking at the first picture. They were fishing a new part of the river and hit some rocks and tore a hole in the bottom of the boat. Though the boat was taking on water quickly they were able to get to shore. Fortunately it did not hit any critical parts of the boat and they were able to get it fixed right away. They were right back fishing missing only a day and a half. They had a great time. Good weather, good friends and lots of fish.
