The first snow of the season is always so much fun. They were predicting snow for Whatcom County and sure enough it started last night just after dinner. We turned the outside lights on and watched the flakes fall as we sat by the fire with a hot buttered rum. Ah, the joys of the season.
We woke to sunshine, so I went outside to get some snow pictures before it all melted. Well, here it is at 3:30 PM, the temperature is dropping and we still have snow. The Northeast wind is blowing, which brings the really cold temperatures to this area, but we are protected from it. So, we are still covered with snow. We might be getting more, as they are predicting more for Tuesday.
