Skeet cut a tree down by his shed and the boys decided that it would be perfect to put in the river to keep the boat from bumping on the rocks. So, off to work they went preparing cables...

and lowering the log into the river.
They were very pleased that it went right where they wanted it to instead of rolling into the river and floating down stream.
Once they anchored the log to the rocks they lowered it into the river. These guys are so smart and had planned ahead for the varying river levels. They made the cables adjustable so they can raise and lower the log as the river changes heights, and it does that a lot.
