Mt Baker

It was one of those beautiful summer days in Bellingham. At 77 degrees there was not a cloud in the sky. Ron has been wanting to go to Mt Baker now that the Artist Point Road is open. We started out a few weeks ago, but on the way we could already see that there clouds around the mountain. At that point we turned around and came home. Today was our next attempt. We could see a few clouds around the mountain, but Ron was hoping they might be gone by the time we got up there. However, kind of looks like a winter day, doesn't it? This is where Mt Baker should be. As we were there even more clouds moved in.
This is the White Salmon Ski Area. It's fairly new. It wasn't even there when I used to ski up here. There have been a lot of changes. We just called this another fun adventure. We didn't even see the sun until we got back down to Glacier.
