Here we are in Kendrick, Idaho. It's a very little town about a half hour drive west of Lewiston. There are about 400 people living there. We come here every year to check on some of the cute shops. Unfortunately our favorite little bakery has closed. The boys love the hardware store as it still has the old fashioned look. Jennie is by the nail bins and the nuts and bolts are along the wall. It is also heated with a wood stove and the people that work there treats you like friends. Ah, the atmosphere of a small town.
Since the bakery was closed are favorite hardware store suggested we try Archie's Place. Once again we took a step back in time. It's like an old fashioned soda fountain and the food was good. Looks like we will come back here again.
Jennifer was especially interested in the appetizer menu. We thought she might try the "Breaded Chicken Gizzards", but she wasn't that adventuresome.
I think Ron likes this store for the great old tools he finds to weld into the bowls he makes. I like it as it's a great place for photos.
