We're ready to start Day 3 and that means another fuel stop before we hit the road. When on a road trip we learn to look for fueling stops that are easy for us to get in and out of. I then mark them on the map. You'd be surprised how many stations aren't designed to handle big rigs. While Ron was fueling up I spotted some flowers that just needed to have their picture taken.
We have been very lucky as every time we come by Mt. Shasta it has been clear. I'm taking pictures out the window as we are driving by at 60 mph. Not much time to compose the picture. I'm lucky to get what I get. Of course the dark spots in the sky I have no control over. Dirt somewhere inside the camera. Sure ruins the picture.
Here's a different view of Mt Shasta...

and a slightly different view.
I was going to try and get a video of this, but one minute I was taking pictures of the mountain and then Ron says, "There's your rainbow trucks." I was hoping to get close up and scan the trucks. First of all it's pretty funny to see them for sale at the mountain and a long way from any towns. Then, they are these beautiful colors. Do men really buy these? We spent the night at 7 Feathers Casino in Canyonville, Oregon. This is a beautiful facility with a very nice campground.I should have taken a picture of this campground when we first pulled in and the sun was shining. Also, sorry about the black wedge in the upper left corner. The lens cover doesn't always open all the way. I must just be wearing this camera out!
